About Us

Planet Dental is a purpose-built Dental Practice, completed in June 2012.

The design was developed by Gavin and Fran Blyth with the expert help of Mike Nichol and West Coast Dental. After travelling to America and Canada during their final year of Dental School, Drs Gavin and Fran observed dental practices in Moosonee, Canada, Hiltonhead, South Carolina and Anchorage, Alaska in the USA.  Their vision was met with Planet’s creation.

Just metres from one of the best beaches in Australia, Scarborough Beach, Planet has echoed this chilled feel with the Scarborough foreshore window frontage, ocean-like reception desk, and “sandy floor.”

Planet Dental believes in keeping dentistry as natural as possible while maintaining stringent standards of care and infection control, which is why it achieved its Accreditation status.

Planet Dental is a family-friendly general dental practice with a happy mix of three dentists; Dr Gavin, Dr Fran and Dr Nathan, two dental/oral health therapists, three dental assistants, and two receptionists who, together, make Planet patients smile better!

Tues – 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Wed – 8.30 am to 7.00 pm

Thurs – 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Fri – 7.00 am to 2.30 pm
