Meet our Dental Assistants

We have three dental assistants at Planet Dental Carmel, Eileen and Any.

Carmel

Carmel trained as a dental assistant when she left school and has been working for different dentists for over 30 years!  She had a break from dentistry while having her 3 daughters; Alysia, Briana, and Cayla.  Her hubby,  Rocco feels outnumbered at all times!

Carmel met Dr Gavin when they both worked at a previous practice and it was an easy decision to follow him to Planet Dental.  Carmel and Dr Gavin have been likened to an old married couple with constant joking and sarcastic arguing during their working day.  We are sure both would not be without the other…

‘Miss’ Carmel loves to teach at a local dance school and has watched her three daughters grow up with dance, especially her oldest, Alysia, who completed her diploma at the prestigious Melbourne dance school called Transit!  Carmel has a very busy social life with a huge family and friends network and can be seen out and about anywhere in Perth…at any time!

Eileen

Eileen joined Planet Dental in 2015 as a dental assistant.  Originally from Ireland, Eileen has now spent 30 years in Perth.  Eileen enjoys working with Dr Fran on Tuesdays, and multi-tasking around Planet all other days, including on reception!

Eileen has three older boys and loves what Perth can offer from great weather to all of its various entertainments.  Her favourite singer is Josh Groban and one of her highlights in life was his Perth concert in 2018!

Eileen LOVES a chat or a “good craic” as the Irish say (pronounced crack!) and will help make you feel right at home in the dental chair or when answering the phone.

Any

Any came to Planet from her home country of India. She has been a great addition to the team and assistant to Dr Nathan in the blue surgery.
