Meet our Receptionists

We have two receptionists:

Hi, my name is Marina.

You will see me at our front reception to welcome you into Planet!

My husband and I have lived locally for the last ten years in Carine with our 4 children. I was an enrolled nurse for 20 years and I joined the dental world 10 years ago. I have worked with the Planet team since they opened in 2012, which I thoroughly enjoy.  I always start and end the day with laughter. You will see me there on Monday to Wednesday and I get to have the rest of the week off to recover from Dr Gavin’s jokes!

Away from work, I enjoy gardening, cooking, tapestry and a good glass of antioxidant-rich red wine!

Hi, I am Emily.

I joined the Planet Dental team in 2024 while studying Exercise Physiology. Being the daughter of Dr Gavin and Dr Fran, I had an inkling to try my hand at reception work and I now realise this may be the hardest job in a Dental Practice!

Away from work and study I love to dance and am often part of the Perth Fringe scene. I love fitness and going to the beach like most Scarborough gals!

I look forward to answering your phone queries or welcoming you at the front desk on your arrival on Thursdays and Fridays. Unfortunately, I do not get a break from Dr Gavin’s jokes at all!
